Pretoria-based Founder, creator, and director of a fashion brand called mosiima, Rethabile Molefe has just proudly shared her upcoming A/W 25 collection with us, titled The Missing Middle.
Said to be a deeply personal project that sheds light on the often-overlooked group of young South Africans who fall between NSFAS eligibility and actual affordability when it comes to higher education, The Missing Middle collection is further said to speak to four key demographics:
- The high schooler who doesn’t qualify for NSFAS
- The struggling university student
- The graduate with student debt
- And the working-class individual, still facing those financial burdens
The collection was styled and shot in a film-inspired visual direction that Rethabile gravitated toward, with a new look set to be posted daily to build a story around each group.
