With the nation engulfed with the untimely passing of AKA, his family has chosen to honour his legacy by releasing his album “Mass Country”
The country has been mourning the loss of a superstar, Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, the Forbes family recently acknowledged the outpouring of support and love from South Africa and beyond. For the past couple of months, there’s been a build up to the release of his upcoming album “Mass Country”, with the release of multiple singles such as he platinum selling “Lemons (Lemonade)”. To celebrate the life of their son and honour his legacy, The Forbes family has choosen to continue with the release of The MassCountry album on the 24th February 2023 as planned.
In the last two years Mass Country has become AKA’s entire world. The SUPA MEGA constantly kept the album release momentum and anticipation high. He first made anannouncement of the album on the 10th of January 2023, viaInstagram with a post of the artwork captioned with the album title and release date.

As per Kiernan’s wishes, the next single release will be Company alongside longtime collaborator and friend Kiddominant. Scheduled for release this Friday, the 17th of February, the single was recorded in Los Angeles while during his January holiday.
