David “blaq” has been in the photography game for just over four years, but has been in the creative space his whole life. Speaking on his ability to create and capture moments, David told recently told Oak Magazine that, “I’ve always known I’d be a good artist but photography was the farthest thing I’ve imagined 6 years ago . My artistic eye and fine art execution had always informed my creative inner self that I could be outstanding in any visual form of art . Though it was in varsity when I borrowed my friend’s camera that I realised I had a different take on photography altogether than what my surroundings were exposed to”.
