She is constantly seeking to expand her artistic expertise by developing her research and skills”.

Her paintings often portray these these beautiful black people with big and dreamy eyes, wearing extravagant accessories. Seoketsa is currently taking part in the “Not Black or White exhibition at SoShiro Space in London’s Marylebone. Early 2022, she took part in the Makwande Art Residency, an African Female Artist-in-Residence in France. According to the non-profit organisation, they aim to nurture female artistic growth and cultural enlightenment, as well as empower and champion equality in the arts. During the residency, where she created a series of paintings, she took inspiration from Western fashion designers, artists, and Southern African cultures whilst exploring themes of fantasy and surrealism through adornment. “As a child, she would get lost in fantasy worlds where she could dress and be whoever she wanted to be. She currently draws inspiration from designer Elsa Schiaparelli, artist Salvador Dali, and is also inspired by the jewelry she saw as a child during traditional ceremonies in Xhosa and Tswana weddings, as well as jewelry worn in the townships”.
