Bold Collections Shine At The South African Fashion Week

South African Fashion Week just wrapped up, showcasing the talent and creativity of emerging designers from the region. Among the standout collections was “Eco Dream Reimagined’ by Jessica-Ann Shepherd of Oddity, a brand known for its knits and sustainable approach to fashion.

Munkus, another brand featured at the event, wowed the audience with a  display of colours, patterns, and textures that celebrate the diverse cultural influences shaping South African women’s identity. The collection exuded strength and resilience through bold silhouettes and daring accessories.

Jacques Bam of The Bam Collective drew inspiration from kinetic and optic art movements for his collection, “KINETICISM 2024”. The range explored the concept of movement and dynamism in clothing, incorporating metallics, fringing, and a mix of organic and synthetic materials to create a visual experience.
