One of the biggest food and music festivals in South Africa – DStv Delicious – is back after a two-year, pandemic-driven hiatus. The festival that we’ve all come to know and love is gearing up to fest fans to a two day spectacle filled with delicious food and entertainment of global status.
There have been seven editions of this festival featuring major international acts such as Erykah Badu, Common, the late Nigerian artist Femi Kuti, Hugh Masekela, and Black Coffee on its stage.
In this year’s addition, the DStv International Food and Music Festival announced the line up for the upcoming showcase making a much needed impression on post lockdown festival attendees.

Grammy award winning Afro- Pop artist Burna Boy has been announced as the headliner for the first day of the two day festival along side G Force, Stereo MCs, Major league DJ the kwatio legends Mdu Masilela, Kabelo Mabalane, Thebe, Arthur Mafokate, Trompies and Dino Bravo.

On Sunday, the 12-time Grammy Award winner and music producer, Baby Face will be closing off the festival. Gracing the main stage alongside the musical powerhouse is Digable Planets, consisting of rappers Ishmael “Butterfly” Butler, Mariana “Ladybug Mecca” Vieira and Craig “Doodlebug” Irving.
The local acts that promise to spice up the occasion Oskido, Vinny, Christos, DJ Ganyani, DJ Fresh, Lerato Kganyago, Lamiez Holworthy, DJ Zinhle and Soul Sista Zane.
