Converse Shapes and Come Tees peer into the inner realms of experience and raw forms of self-expression in a collection of elevated basics and a multi-panel Chuck 70.
The iconic lifestyle and apparel brand Converse has teamed up with Los Angeles-based streetwear label Come Tees for a new sneaker and apparel collection that takes a peek into a dreamscape of personal style.
The collaborative effort marks an expression of MY WORLD–the realm of imagination manifests in the energy of an innovative streetwear label. Immersive, wild–yet personal–Come Tees and Converse Shapes is designed to put people in touch with themselves through the craft of clothing free of constrictions. Incorporating hand-drawn and painted graphics, playful uses of colour and the raw aesthetics of collage, Come Tees has established itself as a distinct voice in the streetwear world. In this collaboration, the label’s gritty approach takes the Chuck 70 and Converse Shapes collection to another dimension. A dreamworld–untamed.
The eclectic style of Come Tees envisions a new realm of fashion with a multi-panel Chuck 70. Come Tees’ distinct and surreal style for streetwear incorporates hand-drawn and painted figures, playful uses of color, subversive text and abstract imagery. With a unique look on every panel of these Chucks, the vivid graphic language of Come Tees turns the expertly-crafted Chuck 70 into a stream-of-consciousness work of art.
The collaborative collection features: Limited-edition high-top sneaker designed by Come Tees, digitally-printed graphics from Come Tees on every panel of the Chuck 70, custom takes on classic details: debossed Chuck Taylor ankle patch, branded license plate and backstay, unvarnished foxing, toe cap and bumper with pinstripes in classic colors and unique “shatter” graphic on co-molded outsole.
