Eclipse Communications, the PRISM winner for the 2020 Best Large PR Consultancy, has expanded its service offering to include two new business units.
AMP will cater to the Arts and Entertainment industry, and Collide, a full-service creative business unit specializes in digital and print design and events, including hybrid and virtual offerings.
Delivering innovative and creative concepts
AMP, an acronym for Art, Music and Performance, aims to deliver the best innovative and creative concepts, paired with bespoke communication services focused on the Arts and Entertainment industry. AMP will represent both brands and individuals in the music, festival, sport, theatre and literature spaces, to name a few.
Kate Thompson-Duwe, Strategy and New Business Development for AMP, said: “Having worked in entertainment PR for many years and seen the industry grow exponentially, it seemed only fitting to launch a focused division using our collective years of experience and contacts to bring the best to the best.”
The collective team and now AMP’s list of past and current clients is a diverse mix including the likes of Anything Goes, Ultra South Africa, Corona Sunsets, Netflix, Captain Morgan, Red Bull Music, Bridges for Music, Eminem’s Rapture Tour, Open Book Festival, Garagista, Coca-Cola, adidas and Smirnoff, to name a few.
Specialists in finding creative solutions
The second business unit, Collide, is a full-service creative collective with a focus on solving today’s problems with advanced technical, digital and virtual solutions. The start-up business unit specialises in digital and print design as well as traditional, virtual and hybrid events.
Collide has two virtual solutions that will focus on three main sectors, namely conferencing, exhibitions and live arenas.
The first is an international partnership with ThisPlay, a creative production agency based in Israel with representation in five continents.
This is an exclusive partnership in South Africa and the African continent and will focus on large conferencing and 3D exhibition technology. ThisPlay with Collide has created a virtual and hybrid platform with advanced, international-standard technology for medium to large scale events.
Second is its virtual studio, which offers a local production team and live streaming platform for clients looking for virtual solutions, no matter how big or small. These virtual solutions are aimed at client campaigns that require a quick turnaround, including influencer campaigns, media launches and media junkets, to name a few.
In addition, Collide is also a full-service digital and print design unit. The design team specialises in visual brand identity, paid media, website development, technical design, marketing, brand CI development and promotional collateral.
Co-Founder and CEO of Eclipse Communications, Steve Powell, said: “As a company, we are constantly adapting to the ‘new normal’ by providing 360 full- service communications solutions in an ever-changing world. Eclipse has an array of very experienced and talented professionals across the communication spectrum. Our new business units provide a stage for us to showcase the creativity, strategic value and execution capabilities we bring to clients across various sectors.”
He concluded, “We’re ecstatic about the launch of both AMP and Collide and look forward to clients seeing the benefit from these exciting offerings.”
