Are you a young creative looking to step into the world of art collection ?
One of Africa’s leading contemporary art fairs, FNB Art Joburg is calling on young collectors to join the BMW Young Collectors Co. with hopes of introducing a, “new and younger network into the collecting space”. FNB Art Joburg announced on their official social media platforms that they are looking for young people with a keen interest in arts and culture to join the social network with art at its core.
The BMW Young Collectors Co., an initiative that launched at the end of 2020, is a powerful partnership between FNB Art Joburg and BMW South Africa with the vision of supporting the South African art market by cultivating a fresh new perspective on art’s patronage. The BMW Young Collectors’ Co. aims to develop a new generation of art collectors by granting exclusive access to the inner-workings of the contemporary market.
With an invited group of CEOs, founders and entrepreneurs under the age of 40, the BMW Young Collectors’ Co. creates an exclusive network engaging with contemporary culture. The initiative’s plan of action in bridging the gap between the art world and young collectors is through the curation of bespoke events that will include first-hand experiences with the country’s top artists, galleries, private foundations and art patrons.
The BMW Young Collectors Co. is now calling on a new set of candidates who want to jump start their art collecting careers. The criteria for the potential candidates they are looking to fill these positions is quite simple — you must be a young executive, entrepreneur, creative, or leader under the age of 40. Must have an interest in arts and culture, are keen to learn the ins and outs of collecting art and would love to join a network with art at it’s core.
FNB Art Joburg encourages people who evidently meet the criteria to apply or enquire using the link found on their social platforms which leads you to a nomination form that contains all the relevant information pertaining to the initiative.
