It’s a wrap!
E! Entertainment Television – NBCUniversal International Networks’ global, multi-platform brand dedicated to all things pop culture – today announced a collaboration with South African TV personality Lasizwe Dambuza to celebrate the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, premiering this Sunday on E! For the past 14 years, the Kardashian/Jenner family have shared their lives with the world and made an undeniable impact on pop culture. Helping to pay tribute to their legacy, Lasizwe has recreated Kim Kardashian’s three iconic looks from over the last fourteen years when Keeping Up With the Kardashians has been in production. His homage to the much-loved show features iconic red carpet looks at the Met Gala and Paris Fashion Week, to the magazine cover that “broke the internet.”
Soweto-born TV and radio host Lasizwe, who has more than 12.5 million views on YouTube, admits that he is a huge fan of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Kim Kardashian, in particular: “Keeping Up With the Kardashians inspired me to venture into reality TV, so I had to do something special to honour the last season! People who follow me online know that I like to create different personas and wear different wigs; I was extremely honoured and excited to recreate some of Kim Kardashian’s iconic looks for the day. I hope I’ve done her proud! Check out my social pages to see more and don’t forget to tune in to E! this Sunday.”
In the final season, starting Sunday March 21 at 19:05 CAT on E! (DStv Channel 124), the family is faced with life-changing decisions about their future while navigating a world changed by a global pandemic. From the thrill of new babies and cross-country moves, to the heartbreak of fractured relationships and difficult farewells, join the family on one last journey as they figure out what comes next for them and close out this chapter of their lives.
