Theo Klompje is a seasoned photographer based in Cape Town, South Africa. 

Having spent many years focusing on the technical and logistical aspects of photography, Klompje has managed studios, produced retail content, handled large scale postproduction and served in various other technical roles for agencies, print and marketing companies as well as consulting firms.

One of the first things he learnt about a camera is that it’s, inaccurately, perceived as a tool to document some sort of truth behind an event or story. 
Klompje’s experience in the advertising industry has allowed him to successfully transition into a freelance career.
