The Nature of Women Virtual Art Exhibition
Mother Nature has a special relationship with women. Since the beginning of time, she has entrusted women to support her in her growth. Women are the helpers of the Earth; they give whole parts of themselves and tiny pieces of their hearts to help her survive. We see this in their powerful ability to birth. We see this in the art that they create. We see this in everything women do. We see this in The Nature of Women Virtual Art Exhibition that houses the works of 9 visual artists that connect to Mother Nature. All the works connect to Mother Nature’s need for us to save her and nurture her as we do ourselves. From home, Lulama Wolf’s artistic narration is a part of the exhibition. Her work conveys the spiritual encounters that African women have with their femininity abstractly.
