CSA and the Festival Enterprise Catalyst have just announced the 2025 callout for mobility subsidies for live music touring efforts in South Africa and the southern African region, during the period 15 July 2025 to 15 October 2025.

Now in its second decade, Concerts SA is a leading live music support programme administered by IKS Cultural Consulting. Initially supported by founding partners SAMRO and the Royal Norwegian Embassy, the programme now continues under the banner of the Festival Enterprise Catalyst, with backing from the National Treasury Jobs Fund.
Since its launch, Concerts SA has subsidised over 3,800 concerts, averaging more than one performance per day, highlighting its sustained impact on the regional music landscape.
What can be applied for?
Applicants can apply for subsidies to support live music performances in line with Concerts SA’s mission to grow and develop the live music sector across Southern Africa. CSA will be offering Live Music Mobility Subsidies for live music touring in South Africa and the southern African region. Music industry professionals from all genres may apply for support of reasonable costs up to a maximum of R45 000 related to the tour, including:
- Artist Fees
- Technical Support Fees (Audio, Visual etc)
- Equipment rental (not purchase of equipment)
- Transport Costs
- Accommodation
- Venue Costs
- Artist & Crew Catering / Per Diems
- Rehearsal Costs (venue, artist fees, technical)
