Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last two years, then we would understand if you said you’ve never heard of the name William Molebatsi aka ‘William Last KRM’.
William Last KRM (born in Botswana), has mastered the art of turning creativity into revenue. A majority of his fans describe him as a funny comedian who never runs out of jokes, always relevant and up to date. He usually gets his materials from real-life happenings, and he turns them into jokes. He does it so passionately that he entertains people without hurting anyone.
Although William is considered to be a creative genius, he wasn’t always a bright child and has opened up about not performing well in school. At home, William always felt lonely and left out after everyone else goes to work. One day when he was just bored at home, he decided to borrow a friend’s camera, and then recorded a video and uploaded it on his Facebook page. The video received a lot of likes and was shared by his friends. He received encouragement, and that gave him a pat on the back to continue with more video posts.
Today, William gets paid for those videos through partnerships and paid sponsorship. Speaking of which, his latest work with popular polish brand ‘Kiwi’ is one for the books. The collaboration might be the most heavily trailed on social media because of its unique way of cleverly fusing comedy and marketing.
