After completing his undergraduate degree at Michaelis School of Fine Art, Solanki’s talent was quickly recognized, earning him accolades such as the Simon Gerson Award and the Katrine Harries Print Cabinet Award. These honours affirmed his achievements in the printmaking medium, setting the stage for a promising career ahead.

Since then, Solanki has participated in group shows, embarked on various silkscreen-printing jobs, and even secured a residency at the South Atlantic Press. His most notable solo presentation took place at the WHATIFTHEWORLD Gallery in Cape Town, marking a significant milestone in his journey.
