The Investec Cape Town Art Fair is one of the biggest art events in Africa, and it’s coming back for its 12th year! This fair will take place on February 21 to 23, 2025,at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).
This year, over 124 exhibitors from five different continents will showcase their artworks. The fair is expected to attract more than 30,000 visitors, making it a key event for art lovers. With the work of 500 artists from 58 countries on display, the fair will be a mix of global contemporary art.

Artists and galleries from many cities, including Abidjan, Berlin, Cairo, and London, will participate, making this fair a special place for cultural exchange and discussion. South Africa’s art scene will be front and center, with galleries like Goodman Gallery, SMAC Gallery, and Southern Guild presenting both established and up-and-coming artists.

This year the Investec Cape Town Art Fair will serve as a gathering spot for collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts. It showcases the fast-growing African art market and connects it with global trends. Peta Dixon, who is in charge of sponsorships at Investec, expressed her excitement about the fair’s growth. She said, “It’s been a pleasure to watch the growth of the fair and to play a part in bringing ‘Africa to the world, and the world to Africa.”
