The Project Space has launched a Womxn Artists Relief Fund, providing financial aid for local womxn artists facing challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The crowdfunding campaign to raise financial aid for womxn artists will reward you with a limited edition art print or original artwork, by womxn artists.

The participating artists include: Jo Roets, Amani Valerie, Felicia Carol Manke, Cinthia Sifa and, Zee Feels.
Their target of reaching R100 000 will mean a minimum of 20 womxn artists and the organisation will receive financial relief from the funds raised.

Established in 2016 by the late Ugandan born artist Benon Lutaaya, The Project Space is a non-profit cultural laboratory dedicated to the advancement of contemporary African art, and a platform centered on expanding spaces and opportunities for African artists- with a special focus on women artists.
The Space embodies values of patronage as a context and framework for advancing creativity, collaboration, resource/skills sharing, cultural production and a culture of entrepreneurship and self sustainability.
