The Department Of Sports, Arts &Culture Launch Awards To Spotlight Creative Excellence

The Department of Sport, Arts, and Culture in South Africa has introduced the first-ever Cultural and Creative Industry Awards. These awards aim to celebrate and honour the best creative talents in the country, recognizing their positive impact on nation-building projects and their ability to inspire others.

According to Minister Zizi Kodwa, the awards are designed to uplift and support the cultural and creative expressions that bring people together, enrich communities, and contribute to a vibrant nation.

They also play a part as a platform to benchmark South Africa’s creative achievements against global standards, creating a special moment for the industry.
