Adidas recently launched another addition of its “Impossible is Nothing” campaign, spotlighting a global collective of inspiring women who are breaking down barriers in sport and beyond. The brand said it is accelerating its mission to create real, lasting change for women in sport. The “Impossible is Nothing” campaign was first launched by adidas in 2004 and is understood to be the brand’s biggest advertising campaign.
The event was cited exclusively for women over the age of 18 and featured an incredible line-up of fitness sessions and music sets with the special guest Jessamyn Stanley, the American yoga teacher, advocate, podcaster and author who champions body positivity, self-empowerment and acceptance through movement. The R350 purchasing ticket was inclusive of an adidas I’mPossible goody bag valued at R1 000, with yoga mat, water bottle, workout towel, visor and exciting inserts from the event’s partner brands.
Radio personality and presenter Rorisang Thandekiso was joined by a jubilant Siv Ngesi who kept the crowd’s energy levels at an all time high, even through the recurring visits from Jozi’s summer showers. During the rainy moments, guests walked through the grounds grabbing a bite from the food stalls which were 100% woman owned, offering delicious vegan grub and other treats.
The festival was nothing short of activities to occupy time. Festival-goers got fancy with a free hair and make-up session with the Glam Squad who got them ready for a few workouts in the afternoon. Following with performances by the countries leading artists, Shekhinah, DJ Zinhle and DJ Fae Fae who ushered in a night of dancing under the city stars.
