The Sasol New Signatures 2024 campaign, themed “Articulate,” is all about celebrating the universal human desire for self-expression and connection through art. This competition provides a platform for emerging artists in South Africa to showcase their talent and connect with others in meaningful ways.
A new collection point in Potchefstroom has been added for 2024, giving artists from the North West Province region a chance to display their work. This expansion highlights the competition’s dedication to nurturing the visual arts across the country.
Sasol New Signatures welcomes entries from all South African artists over 18 years old who have not yet had a solo exhibition. Artists who have exhibited for academic purposes are also eligible. Entries are accepted in various mediums such as painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography, video, and installations.
