Leaves by Fentse., the entire Dialogue Demo’s by Leo Brenin and Call Me by Nanette is what you should be playing while working and what you should be hearing when you switch the radio on. These are the three beautiful musicians whose voices are present in our playlist. Believe us, you will want to listen to them every single day! We want you to sit down and hear these masterpieces yourself so our descriptions will just give you a little of what we took from listening.
We will start with Leaves by Fentse. We have raved about Fentse.’s Leaves twice already on Instagram and you cannot blame us. Fentse. describes Leaves as a song that narrates what she is letting go of and what she no longer wants to stay in her life. When we read this, we thought of autumn leaves and how without them, we can never enter a season of growth. We imagine she is not singing about any leaves but the leaves that fall so we can rise (out of our winter). But this is not your ordinary song about letting go of a relationship; Fentse.’s voice together with the funky beats contrast the sad ending to the love story. We want you to experience Leo Brenin’s soothing voice in Dialogue Demo’s yourself so we will select one song that we love, All My Favourite Things. All My Favourite Things sounds like a love letter being read out loud to you. It is penned with love and admiration of everything that your lover appreciates about you. Leo Brenin’s chorus repeats ‘you’re all my favourite things in one’. For us, it is everything that your lover falls in love with every day. And in addition to this love letter, is what sounds like choirs singing little love songs in the background for you. Leo Brenin’s vocals are slow thus allowing the listener to take in every word.

And then we listened to Nanette’s Call Me and we applaud Nanette’s vocal range. Call Me carries the voice of a lover whose heart is heavy from the tragedy of a love story. They wish that their lover would reach out when they are ready because deep down they wish to fix what is now broken. This is what we took from the song, especially where Nanette expresses ‘without you I feel so alone, you are my everything, you are my home’. The lover wishes that their lover would feel like home again.
