South African Fashion week (SAFW) is gearing up for its most sustainable season yet, with a focus on responsible fashion production and a commitment to a non-toxic industry. Taking place at the Mall of Africa from 18-20 April 2024, the event will showcase top local design talent who specialise in sustainable fabrics and promoting quality over quantity.

Director Lucilla Booyzen highlights the support from key retailers like Mr Price and sponsors such as Cruz Vodka and L’Oréal Paris South Africa as crucial in driving this towards sustainability in the fashion industry.
