Sinehlanhla Chauke, the visionary behind 99perspective, an art direction and illustration studio that has captivated hearts and minds with its unique approach to storytelling and visual expression.
One cannot help but be captivated by the figures depicted in 99Perspectives illustrations. Their gaze is so compelling that it becomes impossible to look away. Often, their pupils take on the shape of Pac-man, adding an intriguing and playful element to his work. These visuals draw viewers into a world brimming with emotion, curiosity and imagination.

Sinenhlanhla established his studio in late 2018, through this platform, he has collaborated with renowned brands and agencies including Puma South Africa, Sony music, Remy Martin and Spotify on various campaigns, product designs and branding projects. His work showcases his ability to solve creative problems while embracing diversity and giving voice to underrepresented communities, particularly BIPOC women and men.
Creativity has been an integral part of Sine’s life since childhood. Whether it was painting, drawing or capturing moments through photography, he found solace and inspiration in various art forms. This passion led him to pursue Visual arts in high school and later visual communication at the academy of Digital arts in Cape Town. It was after receiving his certificate that Sine’s artistic journey truly took flight.

Sinenhlanhla’s work is deeply rooted in his cultural heritage, drawing inspiration from his language, African aesthetics and South African traditions. However, it is his skilful use of colour that sets his art apart.
