These last 31 days for SA Creatives
March 2021 was a sunrise for SA Creatives. It was a morning that brought the chirping of the voices of creatives who were comfortable unlocking the doors to their minds and letting us in. We sat down with Muofhe Manavhela, Jason Langa, Ranji Mangcu and Clinton Mashabela to dicuss their expression born in their visual art. Nompumelelo Nhlapo, Noluthando Mbanjwa, Asive Mabula, Nonhlanhla Ndlovu and Poko Ramatlapeng are the women who shared the stories of their relationships with fashion. Music turned to words with us for Leo Brenin and 4IAM, a girl band born from South African soil. Tutu Zondo allowed us in to talk about their baby Vogue Nights Jozi. Lethlogonolo Masipa stepped back from the lens to give us his perspective. And our conversations with Olivia Mortimer, Nkosana Nkomo and Lindsey Monyepao will be shared with you in April.
10 Minutes
We also brought to the creative world we share with you 10 Minutes with SA Creatives. This is a conversational platform that is focused on sharing what creatives share with us in a 10 minute conversation. We cannot wait to continue with these conversations and share them with you. Feel free to bring your thoughts and put them on our table; we love to take lessons home.
Our days
March also saw the rebirth of the structure of our content sharing. We have Music Mondays. Tuesdays are for art. We think we should look at art and have something to say about it on this day. On Wednesdays (we do not wear pink), but we do focus on the things we wear and fashion. The fourth day of the week is a day for photography. And the fifth is for everything in between; film, writing, spaces and places.
Before we see a new day in April
We want to expand as a platform and be even more inspirational. The minds behind our creative network want to give you more through weekly curated playlists, the space to share and share and give and take as well as provide a home for South African creatives.
We are family and a family always supports you.
We are SA Creatives.
Always here for you.
Goodnight. See you in the morning.
